The Indonesian Government’s policy for National Energy Mix by 2025 includes coal liquefaction as one of the energy sources to drive Indonesia’s economy. DH Energy plans to utilize lignite through the Coal Liquefaction Project to produce liquid transport/industrial fuels and chemicals in Pendopo, South Sumatra. The Coal-to-Liquid (CTL) project will be developed through cooperation among reputed technology provider, off-taker, and feedstock supplier as co-sponsors with Government's support. Pendopo Energi Batubara will supply feedstock for a guaranteed life cycle of the plant.
